#7 What's In A Name (Autographs by Mail)
What's in a name?
That's the question I am posing today as I go through my autograph collection.
When I was in college in 1992, I was introduced to the idea of sending cards to players to get signed. I was sceptical at first but decided "what the heck." Here is my experience over that 6 month time frame.
First thing to remember is you might not get your cards back. There is always thet chance. I have had one send me note telling me how much he charges for an autograph.
Second, there's the chance that they are stamped. These guys have amazing hand writting, so good that I can't tell if their signed or stamped.
Then, you have Cal here who doesn't sign anything but does send you this card for your enjoyment.
You have Jeff George who signs everything and send you a card with a printed message on the back.
How about John Offerdahl, who signs but also sends out an amazing trifold religious track.
Then you have the Ink Signers and the Bible verse sharers.
All in all, I love getting signed cards although, no I really only get them in packs. To see more, check out my list.

In the meantime, here are a few more of the cards by mail.
I will say Sterling Sharpe signs everything. I have 8 cards signed by him.
Until next time, as always, stay WIRED, INSPIRED and a little bit TIRED.

Really nice variety of autos. I have a few I have gotten in some random bulk purchases but am not really sure if they are legit or not. Is there a way to follow your blog? I would like to be a follower. Enjoy your posts.
